About us
Algeria is committed to intercultural dialogue.
A regional foundation dedicated to promoting intercultural dialogue across the Mediterranean region, operating in nearly 26 countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea. It works on implementing diverse projects aimed at connecting civil society organizations across these countries and strengthening cooperation between them in various cultural, social, and humanitarian fields.

The Algerian Network is currently chaired by the Turath Djazairouna National Association, led by Dr. Faiza Riache, professor at the Faculty of Information and Communication Sciences at University of Algiers 3. She currently serves as Director of the Arts and Culture Center at Palace of the Rais (Bastion 23).
Turath Djazairouna has been an active association since 2017, focusing on initiatives related to the preservation of tangible heritage, archaeological landmarks, and the promotion of Algeria’s national cultural memory. The association has been leading the network since 2024.
The Algerian Network seeks to strengthen the role of civil society in supporting Euro-Mediterranean cooperation by encouraging joint projects and building bridges of communication between associative actors in Algeria and their counterparts across Mediterranean countries in various cultural, social, and developmental fields, thereby promoting the values of dialogue, coexistence, and mutual understanding among peoples.
